Don’t believe everything you hear. People in Foothill County know better than to put stock in rumors, whether they be of strange sightings in the woods or sinister sounds on the mountainside. They know not to spend money on the odd tourist traps that crop up all too often around the base of Mt. Hallux. They know there’s nothing odd about all the dark-suited agents that pass through these parts or the blinking lights above the telephone lines. Foothill is a place like any other place - even if the occasional explorer seems to think otherwise. What do they know anyway; eccentric conspiracy theorists and wide-eyed documentary filmmakers will believe anything. There’s nothing to see here. Not unless you know where to look.

Plane shift: SILVER SCREEN

There's a reason they call it "movie magic." For tourists and other passersby, the wonder of Hollywood may lie in the glitz and glamour, in the bright lights and big names, in sequins and sequel deals. But unbeknownst to the public, the true supernatural wonders of La-La Land lie hidden away in studio lots. From invincible stuntpeople to sorcerous special effects artists to ageless heartthrobs, there's a lot more to this town that meets the eye. Get your name in lights, keep your trailer unhexed, and never work with children or animals. You know what they say... There's no business like show business.

PLANE SHIFT: EVER AFTER

ps+ever+after.jpg

Have you ever heard a story about a far away land? About a long-ago time? This is that land. This is that time. And the old tales - they only tell a part of the story. F’araway is a shining realm that spans many hundreds of acres, and the Forest Grimm - as magical as it is treacherous - takes up at least half of that land. Amidst a never-ending war of poison apples and enchanted mirrors, wolves and princes behind every corner conspire to seize crowns and blow houses down. In a story set somewhere between Cinderella and Game of Thrones, you must stop at nothing to obtain your true heart’s desire. Be careful what you wish for, don’t stray from the path, and watch your back if you ever want to get your ever after.

PLANE SHIFT: MOTHERBOARD

Night never ends in The Nexus, and the city never sleeps. Shimmering holographic billboards light up the false sky with a neon fog, hovercrafts draw tracer lines between gravity-defying skyscrapers, and the artificial intelligence of the city itself keeps silent watch over the denizens. They say in The Nexus, you can be anything - thousands of users from the outer servers sell off all their assets just to get uploaded to this city sim. But between monolithic megacorps and rogue gangs of AI fighting for control of the digital metropolis, just getting here is the least of your worries. In a world where body and consciousness diverge, do you have what it takes to get what you want? And will you still be yourself when you get it?

Plane shift: a small world

Long after the forgotten ages when humans roamed the earth, the great valley of Meneiris bursts with life: travelers no more than a foot or two tall make their way through the underbrush, building their homes in the high trees and lush groves. These folk - talking mice, squirrels, frogs, insects, faeries, and living toys - have spent hundreds of years evolving and making this valley a haven for their towns and trading routes, even repurposing the heaps of trash and refuse left behind by older civilizations. But even now, much of the brush remains untamed, and both the ghosts of the past and the shadows of the future loom high above the heads of the little folk.
