Robin Hood

Adapted by Leo Lion & Izzy Pflanz

Guy of Gisborne, a young archer convicted of murder, is offered a way out by the Sheriff of Nottingham: go into the forest and become his informer among the Merry Men. Pulled one way by the law that freed him and the other by the outlaws who take him in, he also falls for the Sheriff's daughter, Marian, who is being drawn, against her better judgment, into the secret spy work of her sister Scarlet and Friar Tuck. Before long, both of them have to decide whose side they are on. Written for a large ensemble, in a mix of archaic and plain speech, with room for music, movement and stage combat.

“Hope, be it ever so faint, bringeth a gleam into darkness.”Howard Pyle, The Merry Adventures of Robin Hood
