Young Jim Hawkins works at his mother's inn, the Admiral Benbow, until a dying sea captain's belongings bring a map, and the men who want it, to the door. Jim sails for the island on the Hispaniola with Dr Livesey, Squire Trelawney, Captain Smollett and a ship's cook named Long John Silver, whose friendly manner hides his own plans. Written for a company that doubles as pirates, sailors and tavern customers.
