In high school, the four of them solved mysteries together. Now it’s halfway into the first semester of college and they aren’t the people they used to be. A true-crime club’s reunion in their haunted hometown gets off on the wrong foot when the resident deadbeat brings his new girlfriend home without consulting the gang. As the night turns to witching hour, the young detectives chase leads, sort through grisly photographs, and try to get to the bottom of an unsolvable case. A dark and stormy ensemble dramedy fusing irreverent hyper-realist banter, teen mystery camp, and a pinch of horror into a touching story about holding onto the past and not-quite coming-of-age.
