Mole meets Rat at the river, and over a year of seasons the friends find Badger in the Wild Wood, rescue Toad from his latest mania and a stretch in jail, and finally face the weasels. Told by five actors who play the friends and the countryside around them, with the seasons carried on signs, songs and live music.
